Granjeno Resident Near Border Says Shes Not Concerned about Caravan
GRANJENO – A Granjeno woman says she’s not worried about migrant caravans crossing into the U.S.
Aurora Garcia, 76, says she’s witnessed people crossing the border her whole life.
She says she still sees people in the country illegally near her home on a regular basis.
KRGV’s Frank McCaffrey reached out to U.S. Customs and Border Protection to find out when the border fence near her home will be expanded.
A spokesperson tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS he cannot comment on the expansion project at this time.
