UPDATE (11/15): Weslaco police say a 17-year-old girl was stabbed several times by a suspect. 

The teen was listed in stable condition as of Thursday, according to a Weslaco Police Department press release.

The incident happened Wednesday evening on the 600 block of S Louisiana St. 

Police say the 18-year-old suspect died from a self-inflicted stab wound.

WESLACO – One man was found dead and a woman in critical condition following an incident at a Weslaco home on Wednesday night.

Weslaco police are calling the incident, which took place near Louisiana and 6th Street, an offense.

 Authorities say it is an open investigation.
