FALFURRIAS – A rancher rescues a migrant at his front gate.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS was initially meeting Dan Miller about how he’s notified by authorities if they find human remains on his property.

Miller is one of the owners of Jones Alto Colorado Ranch in Brooks County.

He told us he was on his way out the door to meet us for our interview when he saw a man waving him down to the gate of the ranch.

Miller says this is not the first time he’s needed to rescue someone.
