EDINBURG – Hidalgo County commissioners approved to stop paying a state district judge facing federal bribery charges.

Judge Rodolfo Delgado was arrested last month. He’s accused of taking bribes for favorable rulings.

The state decided to suspend his $140,000 paycheck earlier this month.
