WESLACO – A Weslaco man says he continues to clean up damaged items left behind by floodwaters in June.

After waiting days for the water to recede, he’s now awaiting more information from public officials on how the debris sitting outside his house will be removed.

But, Hidalgo County says there are new guidelines for how flood debris has to go out.

KRGV’s Christian Von Preysing spoke with a Hidalgo County Precinct 1 official who explained trash needs to be placed in designated piles.

Watch the video above to learn more about the new guidelines.
