Law Enforcement from Both Sides of Border Undergoing 3-Day Training
MCALLEN – A three-day multi-agency training for U.S. and Mexico border security officials is underway in McAllen.
U.S. law enforcement is meeting with Mexican counterparts to strengthen relationships between local and federal agencies.
The training will focus on medical applications out in the field, investigating crimes scene and detecting fraudulent documents like passports and IDs.
The Department of Homeland Security, FBI, Texas Department of Public Safety, Border Patrol, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department and McAllen police were in attendance.
