PALMVIEW – A man is charged with first-degree murder in connection to a homicide Friday in Palmview.

Palmview Police Chief Chris Barrera says Conrado Tovar Jr. allegedly killed his victim with a bat.

The murder happened at a mobile home park off G and G Dr in Palmview around 3 p.m. Friday.

The victim was identified as Maria Isabel Hernandez. 

Tovar was given a $1 million bond.
