Mission Man Hit by Vehicle along Conway Ave in Induced Coma
MISSION – A Mission man hit by a car is now in an induced coma.
Officials say 85-year-old Lorenzo Reyna was struck just after 8 p.m. Thursday. He was crossing the street near 5th Street and Conway Avenue.
“We’re investigating the speed, of course. He didn’t use no crosswalk, so that’s what we’re looking into,” said Arturo Flores, public information officer for Mission police.
The driver did stop and is cooperating with investigators. For now, no charges are filed.
