Roma in Compliance after Water Tested for Lead, Copper

ROMA – The city of Roma successfully met standards for lead and copper levels in their water.

The city sent in required water test samples from 60 locations to the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality this year.

Upon review, the agency determined the Roma water system is in compliance.

Water samples from the city were last evaluated in 2012.

The city is scheduled to start conducting another round of water sampling until December.
