San Benito Woman’s Family to Hold Memorial Service
SAN BENITO – A special church service will be held to honor the San Benito woman whose remains were discovered in a canal two weeks ago.
The memorial service will be at Cross Church in San Benito Saturday, April 29 at 5 p.m.
Although it will be at least six months before her family gets her remains back, they said there will be a casket. Friends, family and the community are invited to bring flowers, poems or notes to leave inside it.
A pathologist identified the remains nearly eight months after Rodriguez went missing from Harlingen.
Harlingen police continue looking for leads in the homicide investigation.
