Sentencing For Mexican National Convicted of Capital Murder to Continue Friday
BROWNSVILLE – Sentencing is set for a man convicted of killing a Border Patrol agent in 2014.
On Wednesday, a jury found Gustavo Tijerina-Sandoval guilty of killing Javier Vega Jr.
Three people took the stand Thursday to testify how he and a group of several other individuals attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
Tijerina could face the death penalty.
