UPDATE (4:23 PM): Cameron County announced the road closures scheduled for SpaceX testing Wedensday have been cancelled.

No word as to when testing will happen at this time.

NEAR BROWNSVILLE – A section of Highway 4 leading to the SpaceX launch site will be closed Wednesday.

The shutdown is due to scheduled testing at the site.

The closure will no longer affect Boca Chica Beach.

The shutdown is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
