RAYMONDVILLE – A 26-year-old woman is charged after a fatal crash Thursday night.

Dayna Louise Salinas is charged with intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault.

The accident happened on Business 77 south of FM 3168 south of Raymondville.

The Department of Public Safety says Salinas veered right into the shoulder and struck the driver of a Malibu, 19-year-old Jonathan Young.

Troopers say the crash caused Young to skid across the northbound lane into the southbound lane.

The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado driving in the southbound lane then hit Young.

Young was transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center where he later died.

A 4-year-old boy, son of Young, was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio and is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Silverado is also in critical condition.
