A Friday tornado warning for Willacy and Kenedy counties expired on Friday at 7:30 p.m. 

The tornadic thunderstorm was making its way to Port Mansfield when the warning was issued.

A severe thunderstorm warning is now in effect for the county until 8:15 p.m.
