BROWNSVILLE – Stowaways on semi-trucks are a daily concern for Rio Grande Valley truck drivers.

A truck driver tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS he’s had multiple run-ins with people in the U.S. illegally wanting to use his tractor-trailer to move up north.

He says other truck drivers should pay more attention to what they transport.

KRGV’s Daisy Martinez explains truck drivers put in these types of situations can call local or federal authorities for help.
