The UTRGV Vaqueros men's soccer team takes the pitch against Houston Christian on Wednesday.

The Vaqueros are still seeking their first win of the season after an 0-4 start to the year.

Today at practice, the team emphasized their focus on righting the ship and finally getting in the win column.

"We did get goals in the last two games which is good," UTRGV sophomore striker Koren Klein said. "We need to get more and be better on the defensive side so we can actually win games."

"I think everybody's up for it," UTRGV freshman midfielder Michael Chaves added. "I think it should be a good game and I think we'll put together that first win."

The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field complex.
