The UTRGV Women’s soccer team hosted the Southeastern Louisiana Lions Sunday morning.  

The Lady Lions came out and took the 1-0 lead to give the Vaqueros their second consecutive conference loss.

“It's just Sunday soccer. We weren't able to execute that piece for us today. They just outworked us the majority of the game. That's something we need to reflect on and get better at next weekend.” said Acting Head Coach Audra Laurson

UTRGV will continue conference play next Sunday on the road against Stephen F Austin. Kickoff is set for 1 pm.
