The UTRGV women's soccer team heads back on the road to face off Nicholls.

The Colonels' single conference win came against Texas A&M Corpus Christi back in September. Recently, they are coming off back-to-back draws.

Meanwhile, the Vaqueros look to get back in the win column after last Thursday's loss at McNeese.

Acting head coach Audra Larson mentioned that the team had a slow start, and she expects a different type of energy against Nicholls.

"The challenge for this group is hey we can't wait for the second half," Larson said. "We got to make sure we're getting after teams in the first half so it was a good learning lesson for us and we're taking that lesson into this week for sure."

The first whistle is set for Thursday at 7 p.m.
