WESLACO – A Weslaco neighborhood saw history repeat itself after being inundated by floodwaters this week.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported about the La Brisas subdivision during the 2018 June floods.

The only way in or out is to walk, ask the city for help or risk your own vehicle.

The water receded on some streets while on others the water is thigh deep.

Residents say they hope a solution to the flood issues comes soon.
