Police Release Identity of Man Killed in Brownsville Auto-Pedestrian Accident
BROWNSVILLE – Brownsville police released the identity of a man killed in an auto-pedestrian accident.
Officials say 68-year-old Nicolas Castro was hit and killed while walking along a busy road.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning along Minnesota Avenue, near Highway 48.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS is told the driver involved did stop to help.
The case remains under investigation, but no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
