Team White wins UTRGV's second annual Spring football game in Brownsville

The second annual UTRGV football spring game was held at Sam's Memorial Stadium in Brownsville in front of 2,831 fans.
Transfer quarterback Garret Rangel was the starter for Team Orange who turned the ball over in the first play of the game.
Team White took advantage of it, running back Fabian Garcia rushed in a 16-yard touchdown to put them on the board first.
The offense didn't see much action until the fourth quarter. Brennan Carroll rushed for a 6-yard touchdown to go up 14-7.
With one minute left in the game, quarterback Jaxon Baize threw a 28-yard pass to his brother Braden Baize in the end zone to put Team Orange on the board.
Team White took the win 14-7.
