1 Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash Involving Motorcycle
HARLINGEN – A motorcyclist is dead after suffering serious injuries in a crash in Harlingen.
It happened Thursday morning on the 200 block of North Ed Carey Drive in Harlingen.
Police say the 75-year-old driver of the motorcycle was traveling south in the middle lane ahead of a passenger truck on the outside lane.
According to investigators, the driver of the motorcycle attempted to turn into a road from the middle lane, crossing directly in front of the truck.
The motorcyclist was transported to Valley Baptist Medical center where he later died.
No criminal charges are expected to be filed.
The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld until family members are notified.
