BROWNSVILLE – A San Benito resident was sentenced to more than 19 years in federal prison for producing child pornography.

Jonathan Rios, 27, was an assistant manager at a local restaurant before his arrest in July of last year. Four months later, Rios pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor with intent to produce child pornography.  

He was further ordered to serve 20 years on supervised release. 

He will also be ordered to register as a sex offender.
