CBP Seizes $500K Worth of Cocaine
HIDALGO – A man is in federal custody for trying to smuggle $500,000 worth of alleged cocaine into the U.S.
Customs and Border Protection says a silver 2003 Honda Pilot was referred to a secondary station at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge on Tuesday.
Upon inspection, CBP officers found 25 packages concealed within the vehicle.
The driver, a 23-year-old from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, was arrested.
The car and drugs were seized.
