The Weslaco Lighted Christmas Parade is one of the biggest Christmas parades in the Rio Grande Valley.

The city is preparing for the big event.

Weslaco Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Barbara Jean and Board Chair Ronda Lewis spoke with Channel 5 News' Dina Herrera Garza about all the fun they have planned and how people can participate.

The parade will go south on Texas Boulevard, beginning on Pike Boulevard and ending on 6th Street. This year will the second year the Chamber of Commerce will offer VIP tickets to view the parade.
