WESLACO – Prosecutors will not seek the death penalty in a Hidalgo County capital murder trial.

Five suspects are accused of shooting and killing Nicholas Bazan during an armed robbery last June.

His body was found with a gunshot wound along the 1400 block of Vine Avenue in McAllen last year.

The suspects face the possibility of life in prison without parole.
