Local Professor Explains who Receives Paychecks during Partial Gov't Shutdown
WESLACO – The partial government shutdown is causing some federal workers to be furloughed; others are working without pay.
South Texas College political science professor Mark Murray explains there are several agencies that have both workers who are getting paid and workers who aren’t.
He further explains the shutdown doesn’t have a time limit.
