The McAllen Memorial boys golf team finished tied for fourth place in the 5A state tournament in Georgetown, Texas.

Mustangs' Liam McGurk came in the top 10 individually of the 72 state qualified golfers. He shot a 71 on day two, which was tied for the sixth best performance of the day.

McHi's Rex Flores also competed individually and shot a 77 on both days.

Edinburg Idea's Mauricio Solar took fifth place in the 3A state golf tournament held in Austin.
