Rotary Club of Edinburg Donates $5K to Tim's Coats
EDINBURG - Thursday the Rotary Club of Edinburg donated $5,000 to Tim's Coats.
It's the second year in a row the club has made this very important donation.
The rotary raises money through its annual Cajunfest event in February, then gives the money out to charitable organizations in the Valley and around the world.
The money donated will go to buy coats which will be distributed through Salvation Army and Catholic Charities.
If you'd like to donate a coat to Tim’s Coats, simply take it to any participating dry cleaner.
They clean and mend them and make sure they get to people in the Valley who need them.
