EDINBURG – Residents in Hidalgo County can still apply to receive a free space heater.

The Hidalgo County Community Service Agency director says people in low-income households can apply for the remaining 40 heaters they still have available.

The qualifications include low-income residents, parents with a child under the age of six, those who have a loved one with a disability or elderly residents.
