Suspects in Harlingen Aggravated Assault Investigation Behind Bars
HARLINGEN – Two men are behind bars after a woman was reportedly hit in the stomach with a bat.
Andrew Pina, 31, and Leeroy Valdes Pena, 24, are facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Harlingen police say they showed up at an apartment complex in Adams Street and allegedly beat two women and a man with a crowbar and a bat.
Bonds were set at $225,000 for each suspect.
