Teen Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident in Starr County
STARR COUNTY- A 16-year-old was killed Saturday morning after getting hit by a pick-up truck in Los Alvarez.
Rio Grande City police say it happened just after 3 a.m.
According to Assistant Police Chief Jose Solis, the driver of a white Chevy Silverado hit the teen at the intersection of US Highway 83 and and JM Alvarez Street.
The names of the victim and driver are not being released at this time.
