UPDATE (4/14): Alamo Police Chief, Baudelio Castillo confirms the victim in Saturday's fatal crash was 60-year-old Augustine Cortez of Donna.

ALAMO- Authorities are investigating a fatal crash in Alamo.

It happened Saturday afternoon near the Val Verde exit on the westbound expressway.

Alamo Police Chief, Baudelio Castillo tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS one person was killed.
