WESLACO - A  U.S. veteran detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement  is back with his family after months.

U.S. veteran, Edgar Baltazar, is a legal permanent resident but was born in Reynosa.

Baltazar was detained after crossing into Mexico while under probation; he’s was in detention for three months.

Attorney Carlos Garcia tells us an immigration judge granted cancellation orders Wednesday.

Balatzar expressed gratitude for all the support he received from other veterans while he was detained.
