Donna Student Detained after Photo Posing with Rifle was Posted as Fake Threat
DONNA – A student may be facing the consequences after sharing a fake threat posted on social media.
On Thursday, administrators at Donna High School were informed about the post.
Police responded immediately and detained the student.
The student admitted to taking the photo posing with a rifle last year, but it was modified by an unknown third party and shared online.
Officers took the child home with the parents.
No word if the student will face any legal action.
Donna Independent School District says there is no threat at the high school.
