Driver in Mission Hit-and-Run Arrested
UPDATE (8/28): The driver in the Mission hit-and-run has been arrested.
Vicente Suarez was charged with accident involving serious bodily injury.
Cell phone video from several witnesses led police to Suarez.
He is out on bond.
MISSION – Police are searching for a man involved in an auto-pedestrian hit-and-run that took place in Mission.
It happened at the corner of Frontage and Stewart Road in Mission Thursday evening.
Mission Police Department Assistant Chief Jody Tittle says the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while trying to pick up items lying on the street.
He says the man will eventually be arrested because he fled the scene.
