The Edinburg Fire Department is investigating a trailer fire that broke out Sunday afternoon.

Crews were called to 4th Street near Sprague at 3:29 p.m.

According to Edinburg Fire Chief Shawn Snider, a trailer caught fire and the flames nearly reached an apartment complex nearby.

The trailer was completely destroyed.

No one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.
