GPS Tracking Leads Edinburg Authorities to 2 Convicted Felons
EDINBURG – Two men accused of stealing laptops in Edinburg are behind bars.
Edinburg police and SWAT raided an apartment complex on the 3800 block of South Veterans Boulevard after tracking the laptops.
Because the laptops had GPS, authorities were able to find the men in the apartment complex.
"During the search a loaded pistol and a police vest along with other evidence was recovered,” explains the Edinburg public information officer, Sarah Rodriguez.
The two convicted felons are from Houston.
