U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar visited Starr County on Thursday for a roundtable discussion addressing changes for the upcoming year.

Cuellar started the roundtable discussion addressing changes in policies once President-Elect Joe Biden takes office in January. The policies were in regards to border wall fencing, immigration and financial support for cities still suffering cities. Another topic on the agenda was talk of another possible relief package.

"It will include things like stimulus checks money for food bank and school lunches," Cuellar said. "It will include money for unemployment — the question is amount and timing."

After Cuellar's visit in Starr County he headed to Hidalgo County at the La Joya City Hall to meet with officials from La Joya, Peñitas and Sullivan City.
