WESLACO – Many families did not expect the amount of rainfall that poured over the Rio Grande Valley early Wednesday morning.

They also didn’t think they would need to be rescued.

KRGV’s Angelo Vargas went along on some of those rescues with Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies.
