Less than 40% of Texans have completed the 2020 Census survey.

Starting Monday, census employees will be helping people respond at local grocery stores across the Valley.

Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez says with the current coronavirus pandemic, every person counted matters more than ever.

Residents can also respond to the 2020 Census here online, by calling 1-844-330-2020 or by mail.

The deadline to fill out the 2020 Census is August 14.
