SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – A popular boat ramp in Cameron County is closing temporarily.

The ramp will be off limits for the next three months as construction of the new amphitheater at Isla Blanca Park continues.

A Cameron County Parks official says it will be closed to the public until May.
