WESLACO – A local non-profit organization says they’re owed a refund of nearly $3,000.

The Rio Grande Valley Junior Golf Club Association rented a charter bus for a state tournament but canceled the order.

After five months later, they still haven’t received their refund.

"There was a clause in our contract that we needed to notify them 60 days in advance in writing in order to receive our refund. We did that," says RGV Jr. Golf Club Association President Oscar Trevino.

KRGV’s John Paul Barajas reached out to the CEO of the USA Bus Charter company about the issue.

He says he will pass the information along to the president and try to find a solution.
