MERCEDES – A local retailer is offering help to those affected by the recent flooding.

Lowe’s has teamed with the First Response Team of America in order to help flood victims with the clean-up process.

We spoke with a Mercedes woman who says she’s lived through three hurricanes in the 47 years she’s been at her home.

She’s one of the residents receiving assistance from the response team.

KRGV’s Cecilia Gutierrez spoke with the store manager at the Lowe’s in Weslaco to find out more about these efforts.
