Drivers are being urged to avoid the area after a road in Edcouch was closed Wednesday morning due to a crash.

The crash happened on FM 1925/Monte Cristo Road and FM 1015. The intersection is currently closed, according to the Edcouch Fire Department and the Texas Department of Transportation.

Details of the crash weren’t immediately available.
