EDCOUCH – An Edcouch man says he’s content a beehive was removed from his home and backyard after two years.
Honorio Salinas tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS he was stung five or six times on two separate occasions during the two-year time span.
Salinas says he sealed a hole in the back of his home in an attempt to keep them out.
“I thought I got rid of them,” he says. “[I] came outside, looked up there in the tree and there was a big beehive.”
A member of Bee Strong Honey & Bee Removal worked to relocate the bees from the hive into a wooden box, where he’ll keep them and safely take them out from Salinas’ home.
