Road Remains Temporarily Closed for SpaceX Testing
NEAR BROWNSILLE – Part of State Highway 4 remains closed as SpaceX operations continue on Boca Chica Beach.
SpaceX officials announced the temporary road closure would take place due to a static fire test at the site.
A Cameron County sheriff deputy informed CHANNEL 5 NEWS the testing has already been conducted.
SpaceX has not confirmed if a testing was actually conducted.
Authorities say part of Highway 4 will continue to be closed until 8:00 p.m.
