WESLACO – A Rio Grande Valley organization comprised of doctors is assisting in areas hit by natural disasters.

Betzaida Gonzalez is a physician and representative from B&R Emergency Training and Response Corp.

She says a team of Valley doctors are gathering supplies such as hygiene products, food and bedding.

They will be sent to the Bahamas and the Houston area that are dealing with flooding.
