Woman Ordered to Repair Mobile Home Seeking Help to Cover Costs
INDIAN LAKE – An Indian Lake woman says town officials are asking her to make repairs to her home that she can’t afford.
Miriam Ramirez says she received a letter this month requesting she clean the sewage system and other parts of her mobile home.
She says finances have been tight since it sustained heavy damage in 2018 due to Hurricane Dolly and most recently, flooding.
Sgt. Arnulfo Pizano with the Indian Lake Police Department says they can’t fix issues on private property, but they can recommend a professional.
KRGV’s Daisy Martinez inquired more on the process.
