Address Numbers Now Required on All McAllen Residential, Business Structures
MCALLEN – City commissioners in McAllen passed an ordinance requiring all residents and businesses to clearly display address numbers on structures.
The new ordinance requires all new structures must include clearly legible numbers, no less than four inches in height.
This is in an effort to improve efficiency in police and fire response time.
First time offenders will receive a $50 fine.
It will go into effect July 17.
